Valinnassa on kolme tärkeää tekijää, joihin on syytä kiinnittää erityistä huomiota: luotettavuus, tehokkuus ja integrointi. Siemensin laadukkaat hakkuriteholähteet ovat huoltovapaita ja niistä löytyy sopiva malli kaikkiin 24 VDC -sovelluksiin. SITOP-mallistossa on myös teholähteiden lisätarvikkeita, katkeamattoman tehonsyötön tuotteita (UPS) sekä älykäs SITOP PSE200U -suojausratkaisu, jolla voidaan korvata perinteiset sulakkeet. SITOP COMPACT

Kapea ja energiatehokas teholähde pieniin virrantarpeisiin. Erittäin hyvä hyötysuhde myös osakuormilla. Tyypillisesti teholähteen hyötysuhde osakuormalla on merkittävästi huonompi kuin nimellinen hyötysuhde, vaikka tyypillisessä käyttökohteessa teholähdettä kuormitetaan osakuormalla. Tehonkulutus tyhjäkäynnillä on myös minimoitu.
